This next week is Science Night, Thursday, February 16th : Please plan on attending
from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

PreK-4th will be in the front lobby
5th and 6th will be in the multi-purpose room
7th and 8th will be in the cafeteria
Students will be leading activities related to our current Science Content: Organisms
Students should come to not only participate with their own grade level, but to have an opportunity to observe the work of other students. Come have some fun exploring science concepts with
our children.
On Tuesday, Feb. 14th at 2 p.m. Fourth Graders will have a visit from Aqua Man.
He will give a presentation about water conservation. Students will get a water kit to take home.
Fourth Graders have a Benchmark writing test this week as well. On Wednesday and Thursday,
February 15th and 16th students will be busy writing a narrative and expository composition as well
a revision and editing test both days.Testing will be from 8:15 a..m.-12:15 p.m. each day.
Next week our focus will be on writing and science, as well as math for Monday-Thursday.
